We want to encourage new riders to learn to ride with confidence. Many US states allow motorcycle license applicants to waive their motorcycle licensing test by completing a state-approved motorcycle safety course.
HOW OUR OFFER WORKS

2. Order a Maeving for $500 (this is a fully refundable deposit) and complete your training.
3. Before completing your final payment, send proof of your training via this form.
4. Maeving will provide you with a discount code that you can apply to your final bike order payment.
5. Complete the final payment and get ready to receive your new motorcycle.

WHAT IS A MOTORCYCLE SAFETY COURSE?
A Motorcycle Training course provides hands-on experience to impart the essential skills required to become a responsible, informed, disciplined, and equipped rider. If you are based in California please visit the California Motorcyclist Training website. If you live outside California, please search for your local State's Motorcycle Safety Training Course for Beginners or New Riders.
Getting Your license
Here are the basic steps needed to get an M1-class license. These steps may differ if you live outside of California.
- Complete your Motorcyclist Safety Program that mixes theory and practice (mandatory for those under 21).
- Pass the motorcycle written knowledge test, covering road rules and motorcycle regulations.
- Practice riding under the supervision of a licensed motorcyclist.
- Schedule and pass the on-motorcycle skills test at the DMV.
- Visit a DMV office and submit the necessary documents, such as proof of identity and payment for the license fee.
- Receive your M1 license and hit the road.
- Choosing a selection results in a full page refresh.
