RETURNS AND REFUNDS

If you are not satisfied with your motorcycle, you can return it to us within 14 days from the date of delivery without providing a reason (the Guarantee). Please note that once you notify us of your cancellation, you must not use the motorcycle, and it must be kept in the same condition as when it was delivered.

All £500 deposits on the Maeving RM1S are fully refundable before the final payment is made. Once the final payment has been completed, you have the right to cancel your order up to 48 hours before your scheduled delivery date (see Cancellations below).

 

CANCELLATIONS

If you would like to cancel your Maeving motorcycle order (RM1 or RM1S) please contact our support team on support@maeving.com or 0247 718 0149. Please note that the cut-off for cancellation is 48 hours prior to your scheduled delivery date. Any cancellation request that comes in within the 48-hour period may incur a cancellation fee.

 

CONDITIONS TO USING THE GUARANTEE

If you paid for the motorcycle in full: 

  • If you paid with a debit or credit card, we will refund the purchase amount to the same card. If this is not possible, we will process a transfer to your bank account instead. 

  • You must not ride the motorcycle more than 30 miles from the point of delivery. 

  • You must not have made any alterations or modifications to the motorcycle whatsoever. 

  • The motorcycle needs to be in the same excellent condition as when it was delivered. 

  • You must return the V5 logbook to us via recorded delivery (at your own cost). 

If you paid for the motorcycle using finance: 

  • You must not ride the motorcycle more than 30 miles from point of delivery. 

  • You must not have made any alterations or modifications to the motorcycle whatsoever. 

  • The motorcycle needs to be in the same excellent condition as when it was delivered. 

  • The motorcycle must be free from any third-party claims or charges, including any outstanding finance. 

  • You must return the V5 logbook to us via recorded delivery (at your own cost). 

And finally, to initiate your 14-day money back guarantee: 

  • Contact our support team via email at support@maeving.com or call 0247 718 0149. 

  • We will confirm receipt by email and call you to arrange collection of the motorcycle. 

  • To meet the Guarantee deadline, you must notify us of your cancellation by 5:30 PM on the final day of the 14-day period. 

  • We will arrange to collect your motorcycle, confirming the exact time the day before or on the morning of collection. 

 

OUR 14-DAY MONEY BACK GUARANTEE TERMS

  1. You may return the motorcycle to us within 14 days from the day after delivery without providing a reason, under the 14-day money-back guarantee (the Guarantee).
  2. The Purchaser acknowledges and agrees that Maeving does not engage in any buyback arrangements and does not offer refunds or returns for the purchase of the motorcycle, except within the Guarantee period. If the Purchaser is not entitled to a return, refund, or exchange under applicable law, Maeving shall have no obligation to provide such remedies.
  3. If you wish to return the motorcycle under the Guarantee, please notify us by emailing support@maeving.com. We will contact you to arrange collection. Our customer service team will schedule a collection date from your residential address. A collection fee of £1 + VAT per mile applies, calculated based on the round trip between your address and our headquarters in Coventry.
  4. To meet the Guarantee deadline, you must notify us of your cancellation by 5:30 PM on the final day of the 14-day period (or by 5:30 PM on the next working day if this falls on a bank holiday).
  5. If you choose to return the motorcycle under the Guarantee
    1. If you paid with a debit or credit card, we will refund the purchase amount to the same card. If this is not possible, we will process a transfer to your bank account instead.
    2. if you paid for the motorcycle using a Finance Agreement:
      1. we will repay to you the deposit which you paid to us
    3. we will repay the remainder of the Purchase Price to the finance provider with whom you entered into a Finance Agreement.
  6. If you traded in a motorcycle as part payment for your new motorcycle, we will return your part-exchange motorcycle to you.
  7. We will deduct from your refund:
    1. any amounts we are permitted to charge you under section 8 because of the condition in which you returned the motorcycle to us.
  8. You are entitled to ride the motorcycle only for the purpose of assessing its nature, characteristics, and functionality. This use should not exceed what is typically allowed during a dealer test ride.
    1. You must not ride the motorcycle after notifying us of cancellation.
    2. You must keep the motorcycle in good condition from the date of delivery.
    3. If the motorcycle’s value has reduced due to excessive use or damage, we may charge a fee for depreciation, calculated as follows:
      1. Excess Mileage Charge: If the motorcycle has been ridden more than 30 miles, a fee of £0.24 per excess mile will apply.
      2. Damage Charge: If the motorcycle is not in the same condition as when delivered, we will charge reasonable repair costs to restore it to its original state. Damage will be assessed on return to our HQ in Coventry.
  9. You must send the most recent V5C registration document (showing you as the registered keeper) via recorded delivery within 14 days of notifying us of the return.
  10. If the total amount of excess mileage and damage charges exceeds the refund amount, we will notify you of any outstanding balance, which must be paid immediately.
  11. At the time of collection, you confirm to us that the motorcycle:
    1. is free from all charges or claims from any third party including a finance provider.
    2. Is in the same condition as delivered, with only reasonable wear and tear and no cosmetic damage.
    3. Has not been involved in an accident since delivery.
  12. When returning the motorcycle, you must also return all of the following (if applicable):
    1. All keys, including the red key
    2. Service history
    3. MOT certificate
    4. User manuals
    5. Any accessories
    6. And any other documents or items which we gave to you at delivery in relation to the motorcycle
    7. You are responsible for the removal of your personal belongings from the motorcycle prior to collection.
  13. You remain responsible for the motorcycle until we have collected it from you. You must ensure that the motorcycle is insured and taxed until collection.
