LET'S START YOUR JOURNEY

It's our mission to spread the freedom and joy of motorcycling to as many people as possible.

To ride a Maeving, all you need is a CBT, which stands for Certificate of Basic Training. Essentially, it's a one-day course that equips you with all you need to safely ride a motorcycle or moped.

BEGIN YOUR ADVENTURE

Riding on two wheels is a great way to get around town. It's fast, it's clean and is often the most economical way to travel.

To help you on your way, we have created the New Rider Programme, which will reimburse the cost of your CBT as well as £50 worth of accessories once you become a Maeving owner.

So, if all that's standing between you and owning a Maeving is the right licence, now is the time to sign up. Offer is valid from 24th Feb, 2024.

HOW IT WORKS

Sign up to receive the cost of your CBT course back up to the value of £160, provided you have passed within 30 days of ordering your bike.

After purchasing either a Maeving RM1 or RM1S, please send proof of your certificate, the VAT receipt of your CBT, and your bank account details to support@maeving.com. We will then reimburse the price of your CBT, plus the £50 accessory offer, by sending the amount to your bank account.

Disclaimer: if you choose to cancel or return your Maeving, we will refund the price of the bike minus the price you paid for your CBT. Offer is valid from 24th Feb, 2024.

GETTING YOUR CBT

We're here to help guide you through booking, attending, and passing your CBT, as well as to answer any questions you may have about becoming a biker.

WHAT HAPPENS ON THE DAY?

WHAT DO I NEED TO PREPARE?

Can I fail my CBT?

No, you can't fail your CBT as it is training rather than a test. However, if the instructor feels you need more time, you may be asked to return the following day.

Do I need to renew my CBT?

Your CBT certificate doesn't require renewal. However, after two years, you must either retake the CBT course or obtain a full motorcycle license to continue riding legally.

Can I ride on motorways with a CBT?

No, you can't ride on motorways with a CBT. It's for riding on public roads, such as city streets and rural A-roads.
