How we got here

When we launched the Maeving RM1 in 2022, the UK electric motorcycle market was dominated by a handful of international brands. British motorcycle manufacturing - once the backbone of the industry - had no presence in the electric space.

We believed there was room for a different approach: motorcycles designed in Britain, built in Coventry, with removable batteries that charge like a laptop. No range anxiety. No compromises on style or engineering prowess.
