LEARN TO RIDE
If you are new to motorcycling, knowing
where to start can feel overwhelming.
Here's everything you need to get riding.
1. RIDE EASY
Both the Maeving RM1 and RM1S are great options for first-time riders. The right one for you comes down to where you ride, how far you go, and what works for your budget.
You'll struggle to find an easier bike to ride than a Maeving. The frame is very lightweight compared to most motorcycles, making it easy to handle and control. And with no gears or clutch, there’s nothing complicated to think about—just twist the throttle and go.
From the very start, our focus has been on building motorcycles that are as dependable as they are desirable. With over 200 years of combined experience, our engineers have put in their 10,000 hours—and then some. Rest assured, every Maeving is designed to be smooth and reliable, so you can focus on the ride, not the bike.
The Maeving RM1 tops out at 45mph—plenty for nipping around the city. Need a bit more speed? The RM1S hits 70mph, perfect for when your ride takes you beyond city streets.

2. LEARN TO RIDE ON US
To ride a Maeving, you must complete Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) to ride safely. We believe road confidence shouldn’t come at a cost, so we’ll cover your CBT.
A CBT is a one-day training course that covers the basics of riding a motorcycle. A bit of theory, a bit of on-site riding, and two hours of getting used to riding on the road. It’s training, not a test, and it’s all you need to ride a Maeving.
Anyone who wants to ride a 125cc or the electric equivalent (such as a Maeving) and does not hold a full motorcycle licence will require a CBT. You can't ride a Maeving with just your driving licence, regardless of when you attained it.
We believe road confidence shouldn't come at a cost, which is why we'll cover your CBT up to £160 through our New Rider Programme. Ready to start? Click below to sign up.

3. EFFORTLESS OWNERSHIP
Maeving will be the easiest bike you’ll ever own—no oil, chain, belt, or mess like a petrol bike, and 5-star Customer Service every step of the way.
Owning a petrol bike comes with its challenges—oil changes, faulty spark plugs and clutches, chain tensioning, and constant servicing. A Maeving, powered by a hub motor with a single moving part, means you spend more time on the road and less time in the shop.
One of the unique benefits of owning a Maeving is our mobile servicing. When your bike needs maintenance, our expert engineers will come to you, saving you time and hassle. Whether you're at home or work, we’ll make sure your Maeving is in top shape without you having to leave your doorstep.
If you ever encounter an issue with your bike or need advice, our friendly and knowledgeable Customer Service team is always here to help. With Maeving, your journey doesn't end at purchase—it’s just the beginning.
