* The World Motorcycle Test Cycle (WMTC) range figures are calculated as part of an official mixed variety of testing scenarios, including representative city use (for which the RM1 has been designed), and extended periods at higher speeds, as certified by the homologation authority. ** M1 motorcycle license required in most States. RM1 FAQs

Here we answer the most common questions about the Maeving RM1. If you can't find the answer to your question, please see the full list by clicking the link below.

What licence do I need to ride the RM1?

You need a CBT (Compulsory Basic Training) certificate or a higher-level motorcycle licence to ride the Maeving RM1.

Can I add a pillion seat?

No, a second passenger increases the weight on the bike significantly, and therefore greatly reduces its range. We built the RM1 to deliver the best possible range and speed from a removable battery, which unfortunately means excluding riding with a second passenger.

Can I add a second battery at a later date?

Yes, all Maeving RM1 motorcycles are built to facilitate two batteries. Should you purchase a single battery and wish to add a second at a later date, you will be able to do so.
