When charging your phone you plug it into a wall socket. Same with your laptop and almost everything else. Maeving think the same should be true of your bike.
Not knowing where your next charge is coming from leads to range anxiety, but the freedom to charge anywhere is the end of it.

Owning a petrol motorcycle comes with its challenges. Oil changes, faulty spark plugs and clutches, chain tensioning, and regular costly servicing.
At Maeving we use a Bosch hub motor, with a single moving part - no oil, no chain, no petrol, no mess. Economical to service and easy to operate. and all this while doing right by the planet. That's progress.
The Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) License is quick and easy to secure, and the bike has no gears: simply twist the throttle and go.
...as for charging: you just need access to a plug socket.
The Maeving RM1 is a British electric motorcycle with removable batteries, designed for urban travel.
The Maeving RM1’s range is 40 miles per battery. You can fit two batteries in total to the Maeving RM1 to get up to 80 miles of range.
The Maeving RM1’s top speed is 45 miles per hour.
By a top of the range Bosch electric hub motor.
A hub motor means that the power is delivered directly to the rear wheel. No chain, no belt, nothing between the power and the wheel. This provides great torque and immediate power delivery, but also massively simplifies servicing.
Temperature, incline, riding behaviour and the weight of the rider all factor into the range that the bike delivers. Adding a second battery doubles your range. Riding in the 'Speed' mode will also reduce your range.
