The entire design of a Maeving revolves around the concept of removable batteries.
To charge your bike, all you need to do is remove the battery and charge it from any standard socket, just like your smartphone, or plug it into the mains and charge onboard.
This means you never need to worry about planning where to charge, because you can literally ‘refuel’ wherever there is power.
To charge the RM1S from 20-80% takes under 3 hours and 0-100% in 6 hours.

As an industry first, we moved away from motorcycle dealerships towards doorstep delivery and servicing, meaning every part of your journey with Maeving is dealt with directly by our team.
WE DELIVER TO YOUR DOOR
We are a Direct-to-Consumer manufacturer, meaning we sell our electric motorbikes directly to customers and deliver them right to their door. This means no more reliance on dealerships.
Your new Maeving RM1S will be delivered by a Maeving specialist who will guide you through using the motorcycle and provide advice for keeping it in optimal condition.
MOBILE SERVICING
We strive to be hands-on throughout your Maeving journey by offering mobile servicing to our customers. When your motorcycle requires maintenance, our trusted Maeving engineers will come to your preferred location, eliminating the need for dealerships or garages.
When your Maeving is in need of a repair, we will collect the motorcycle from you, fix it at our workshop, and return it to your door.

What licence do I need to ride the RM1S?
What licence do I need to ride the RM1S?
You need a CBT (Compulsory Basic Training) certificate or a higher-level motorcycle licence to ride the Maeving RM1S.
Can I ride the RM1S on the motorway?
Can I ride the RM1S on the motorway?
If you have an A1 licence or higher, you can legally ride the RM1S on all types of roads in the UK. However, if you have a CBT, you are allowed to ride on public roads and A-roads but not motorways.
Can I finance this purchase?

Yes, the Maeving RM1S is available to purchase on finance. You will place a £500 pre-order deposit for the motorcycle, and we will be in touch ahead of delivery to confirm your payment plan.
Can I charge the RM1S from a car charging point?
Can I charge the RM1S from a car charging point?
We will have a Type 2 adaptor available in the latter stages of 2024. This will enable you to charge from a standard car charging station.
